From Song Hye Kyo to Kim Yu Na, Stars who suffered the most from fake news

The ranking of celebrities who suffered the most from fake news was revealed from a voting period of 1 week.

The community portal site “DC Inside” held a voting period from February 27th to March 5th under the theme of “Who is the star most damaged by fake news?”

As a result, Kang Hyung Wook, the “president of dog,” was ranked first with 1,468 votes out of 10,593 total votes cast. Kang Hyung Wook is an animal trainer who gained a lot of popularity with his appearance on KBS2’s entertainment show “Great Dogs.” Recently, Kang Hyung Wook was considered a suspect on the news about an animal trainer under investigation for sexual harassment.

In response, Kang Hyung Wook clarified on Instagram, saying, “I’ve been contacted a lot by people around me. I didn’t do anything, but strange rumors kept spreading, so I’m posting it on Instagram. I’m not [the one who committed the act].”

At the same time, he sent a warning to those who made fake news, stating, “People who make fake news are also bad.”

Actor Song Hye Kyo came in second with 1,061 votes. Following her spectacular return with Netflix’s “The Glory,” Song Hye Kyo was recently embroiled in a dating rumor with idol and actor Cha Eun Woo.

On a YouTube channel in January, a video was posted with the title “[Breaking news] 43-year-old Song Hye Kyo admits dating Cha Eun Woo, 16 years younger… A surprise bomb announcement!” While the title was used as a clickbait, the YouTuber continued, “There was a lot of revelation among the field manager and staff that Song Hye Kyo and Cha Eun Woo were dating.”
