NO:EL

Appearing at No.1 with 2062 (15%) out of 13 993 votes, NO:EL is the son of Jang Je Won, an incumbent member of the National Assembly of the United Future Party. Last year, the male rapper was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol without a driving license and assaulting police officers. It was reported that NO:EL was detained in a single room in Seoul Detention Center. However, the rapper said his request for a single room was not accepted and his father, Rep. Jang Je Won, also confirmed that there was no preferential treatment for his son.

le sserafim

Girl group LE SSERAFIM came 2nd with 1 414 votes (11%). Controversy arose when LE SSERAFIM members came to watch the Seoul concert of US pop star Bruno Mars in June and secured seats in the special area that many celebrities couldn’t obtain. Later, Vice Chairman Jung Tae Young of Hyundai Card, the concert’s organizer, dismissed the celebrity privilege suspicion on Facebook, saying “I’m taking a break from my overseas business trip to write this post cautiously. One of Hyundai Card’s marketing principles has been not engaging in celebrity marketing or advertising during events”

Park Soo Jin

No.3 was actress Park Soo Jin with 1 321 votes (10%). Park Soo Jin, who was once the center of attention with her marriage to actor Bae Yong Joon, faced the allegation of receiving special treatment from a hospital during her first childbirth. She was harshly criticized for getting various privileges, such as using the incubator before others, visits, and breastfeeding. The actress later explained the controversy through a handwritten letter and apologized.

BTS, Seventeen, NCT, etc., also appeared on the list in lower ranks.
