Staffs remembered Moonbin, who became a star, “pure like a child, never gave orders”

Various staff members who worked with ASTRO recalled and praised the beautiful soul of Moonbin, who passed away at age 25.

As memorial messages from acquaintances and staff who have worked with ASTRO Moonbin are being shared, the hearts of fans who had to part with Moonbin too early are in even more pain.

In particular, a staff member who recently worked with Moonbin wrote a mourning message, recalling when Moonbin excitedly explained the smell of spring in his memory. “I remember Moonbin, who was pure like a child”, they also said.

A post titled “Stories of Moonbin shared by an overseas interpretation team, who have worked with ASTRO several times“, which was uploaded on an online community on April 21st, has also become a hot topic.

According to the post, the interpreter in question said, “I will tell you a little about Moonbin, as I have worked with ASTRO several times. I hope it will ease your hearts, everyone,” adding, “Since I am in charge of artists, I work closely with them. From my experience working with Moonbin, whether it was morning, afternoon, or even midnight, he was always the first person to greet the staff when he met them.”

Furthermore, they also described Moonbin as a “polite and humble child who always says, ‘I’m sorry to bother you, but could you help me a little…’” and added, “Moonbin never gave orders to us. Instead, he always asked politely when he needed something.”

The interpreter remembers Moonbin as a complete professional in his work. Even when he wasn’t feeling well, he danced like his pain disappeared when the lights came on.

They recalled an anecdote with Moonbin, saying, “Moonbin loved snacks and once prepared a snack called ‘kattong.’ He ate three packs all by himself. Later, when he asked if he could bring the snacks home, we bought him five more packs of different flavors.”

The interpreter continued, “Since the cookies were easy to break, we wrapped them in bubble wrap to avoid damage, and Moonbin said he had to carry them around on the plane like a delicate baby.

Moonbin was a warm person who took care of those around him. The interpreter said, “Our interpreting team often took breaks at Moonbin’s request. Taking breaks during bathroom or meal times when working with Korean companies is very rare.

They added, “He was especially concerned about the health of the employees because we were running around doing errands.”

Finally, the interpreter conveyed a message to Moonbin, “The moon has become a star at last. Moonbin, fly high and rest in peace.”
