Special screening for scaredy-cats who are too scared to watch “Exhuma”

Director Jang Jae-hyun's occult film "Exhuma" continues to dominate the box office, surpassing 8 million viewers just 19 days after its release

With a fresh storyline, captivating performances by the actors and spine-chilling direction, the film has consistently attracted new audiences.

Some jokingly say that those who have not watched “Exhuma” may find it difficult to join conversations with their friends.

Amidst this, there are also those who are eager to watch the movie but lack the courage to do so, as occult films often contain many eerie and scary scenes.

To address this, CGV has stepped up by organizing a special screening event called “Courageous Screening” for those who are too scared to watch “Exhuma”.

The event will take place on March 24th at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall, CGV Wangsimni, CGV Yeongdeungpo and CGV Hongdae, exclusively for the screening of “Exhuma”.

Especially for those who are easily frightened, CGV will provide “noise-canceling earplugs” and “Exhuma tattoo stickers”.

The screening will be offered at regular prices without any additional charges. Applications can be made through CGV’s website and mobile app.

Upon hearing the news, netizens reacted, “I should get a tattoo on my face and watch it“, “All the scaredy-cats gather together out of curiosity“, “This marketing strategy is well done“…

Meanwhile, “Exhuma” is on the verge of surpassing 9 million viewers this week.

On March 12th, there were reports of sales in 133 countries worldwide and invitations to overseas film festivals.
