On May 11, a video titled “Going to the ER While Filming a Music Video… | [Off Hours] Behind” was uploaded to Soyou’s YouTube channel “Soyougi.”

The video captured the moment Soyou experienced an unexpected accident during rehearsal for her new music video. While filming at a subway station, she reportedly lost her balance on an escalator and fell, eventually being taken to the emergency room.

Following the accident, the production staff held an emergency meeting and considered skipping the subway station scene entirely. However, just two hours later, Soyou returned to the filming site.

Soyou explained, “It’s just bruising,” adding, “I don’t even remember screaming in that moment. When I went to the ER, my blood pressure was really low. I was so shocked that I can’t remember clearly. But even while I was hurting, I kept saying, ‘We still need to film the subway scene somehow.’”

She continued, “I was originally supposed to wait for my CT scan results too, but I said, ‘No, it’s okay. I’ll just go,’ and left,” showing her strong sense of professionalism.

When the staff asked if she was okay to continue filming since there were still many scenes left, Soyou confessed, “I keep telling myself internally, ‘It doesn’t hurt.’”

Meanwhile, Soyou released her third EP “Off Hours” on April 29.
