soojin concert cancellations 2025

Former i-dle member Soojin has come under scrutiny after more than 17 of her concerts were canceled over the past year, including two entire tours. The repeated disruptions have left fans both confused and outraged, with fingers now pointing at her agency, BRD Entertainment.

Trouble first began in October 2024, when organizer EVERLINE abruptly canceled Soojin’s planned “Summer Daze” North American tour before ticket sales even opened, citing “unavoidable circumstances” but providing no further explanation.

Hope was briefly revived when the tour was relaunched as “Re:Summer Daze” with 15 shows scheduled across the US and Canada, marking what would have been Soojin’s most ambitious global promotion. However, that tour, too, was scrapped in August 2025, just ahead of her new music release “Baditude.” Organizer Abridge cited “unforeseen circumstances” while stressing the issue was not health-related.

The cancellations didn’t stop there. On November 9, BRD Entertainment announced the cancellation of Soojin’s Shanghai fan meeting, Meet You, which was scheduled for November 15. The agency pointed to “local conditions” without offering more detail.

Just days later, on November 20, organizer DLLM announced via a newly created X account that Soojin’s December 12 concert in Hong Kong would also be canceled, again due to “unavoidable circumstances.”

Although official explanations have remained vague, poor ticket sales may be partly to blame. Reports suggest that, as of two and a half months before the North American tour launch, overall ticket sales were under 50%. In some cities, including Dallas, fewer than 10% of tickets had been sold.

Amid the repeated cancellations, fans have voiced increasing frustration with BRD Entertainment. Many have criticized the agency’s lack of transparency, minimal marketing efforts, and failure to provide clear updates regarding Soojin’s schedules.

As of now, BRD Entertainment has yet to release an official statement addressing the repeated issues, leaving fans demanding accountability as Soojin’s career continues to face turbulence.
