On the latest episode of tvN’s GBRB: Joy Pops Laugh Pops, actor Kim Woo Bin added another reason to smile besides his upcoming wedding to Shin Min Ah, he also hit a lucky streak by winning a consumer lottery.
Aired on November 21, the episode followed Kim Woo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) on their road trip through Mexico. Due to budget constraints, the trio resorted to eating at a local McDonald’s, where hunger took over reason.
While selecting their meals at a kiosk, Lee Kwang Soo’s appetite was on full display as he suggested, “Let’s get hotcakes,” “Order one coffee,” and “Let’s each take a bite of a burrito.” D.O. couldn’t help but remind him, “We’re only here because we’re broke.” In response, Lee Kwang Soo groaned, “I hate these kinds of dilemmas.”
As Lee tried to tempt Kim Woo Bin into getting more food, saying, “Can you really resist apple pie?” Kim initially protested with a firm “Stop it,” but eventually made a smart decision opting for a set menu to enjoy variety without overspending.
Then came the twist. While Kim Woo Bin went to the restroom, Lee Kwang Soo couldn’t resist the allure of McDonald’s Mexico-exclusive apple pie. He convinced D.O. that it was a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity and persuaded him to sneakily use Kim Woo Bin’s wallet to pay.
Just as they were making the purchase, Kim returned to find them with his wallet in hand. Amused yet speechless, he chuckled at the sight but ended up buying them the pie anyway.
As they returned to their seats, Kim Woo Bin checked his phone and exclaimed, “Hyung! I just received 11 consumer lottery tickets!” He revealed he earned 32 won, bringing a burst of laughter to the group. Lee Kwang Soo celebrated with a high-five, saying, “See? When you give, you receive.”
Meanwhile, fans are already celebrating another joyful occasion: Kim Woo Bin is set to marry Shin Min Ah on December 20 after a decade-long relationship.
