Song Kang Shares Fond Memories of ‘My Demon’ and Promises to Cherish Viewer Interest

On January 20, the SBS Friday-Saturday drama “My Demon” came to an end.

In “My Demon,” Song Kang portrayed the character Jung Gu-won, a devil with a deadly and flawless presence. The drama depicted the process of Gu-won, who had reigned as the top predator, dangerously and sweetly making deals with human souls for 200 years, falling in love with the seemingly insignificant human, Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung).

The deeply immersive narrative of Gu-won and Do Do-hee’s past story from their previous lives captivated viewers, and the tearful performance of Lee Seon (Song Kang), who holds the deceased Wol-shim (Kim Yoo-jung) in his arms, left a profound impression. Gu-won, even in the present life, saved Do Do-hee through a contract with her father before her birth and sacrificed himself to protect her when she was in danger of death from Noh Seok-min (Kim Tae-hoon), creating a poignant romance.

On the morning of the 21st, Song Kang conveyed his final greetings through his agency, Namu Actors. He stated, “Somehow, ‘My Demon’ has come to an end. Like all projects, ‘My Demon’ was filmed with happy memories, and I am always grateful for the love you all gave us,” opening up about his feelings.

He continued, “I feel happiness and gratitude for being able to accumulate many memories over the long period of about seven months. I will cherish the affection, support, and interest that viewers and fans have sent my way. I hope you all remember and love ‘My Demon’ for a long, long time. Thank you,” he added.
