Song Joong Ki was embroiled in a dating rumor after showing intimate gestures with a female co-star.
On June 11th, an interesting story behind the kiss between Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin on “Vincenzo” was unveiled. Specifically, prior to the shooting, actor Song had studied the kiss scene thoroughly. However, when the camera started rolling, he and Jeon Yeo Bin shared a kiss that exceeded what the original script intended. Nonetheless, the reel couple completed the scene successfully and conveyed the intention of the series’s writer and director.
In an interview, Song Joong Ki expressed his gratitude for the “Vincenzo” cast and crew as well as his co-star Jeon Yeo Bin. He said: “The film and lighting directors did it all. What I felt during the rehearsal with Yeo Bin was that this scene would go beyond the script. The [female characters] kind of lead the romance in this drama. That felt really new and nice”.
After “Vincenzo”, both actors were rumored to be in a romantic relationship. The on-screen couple’s off-screen interaction only fueled the rumors further. Neither side spoke up to address the rumors. With time, the rumors gradually subsided.
