Song Joong Ki attended the 50th International Emmy Awards at New York Hilton Midtown on Nov 21st (local time).
On this day, CJ Group’s Vice Chairman Lee Mi Kyung will receive the Directorate Award at the International Emmy Awards. Song Joong Ki will deliver the trophy to Vice Chairman Lee as a presenter.
Vice Chairman Lee and the cast and crew of “Parasite” won the Best Picture Award at the 92nd Academy Awards. She served as the executive producer of “Parasite”, “Decision to Leave” and “Broker”. Since 2020, she has also served as vice chairman of the board of directors of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
On March 8th, American media outlet Variety selected her as “Variety’s International Media Woman of the Year” in commemoration of “International Women’s Day”.
Song Joong Ki is currently starring in JTBC’s drama “Reborn Rich”. It is a fantasy regression work in which Yoon Hyun Woo (Song Joong Ki), a secretary who manages the owner’s risk of a conglomerate family, revives as that family’s youngest son and plans his revenge.
