Song Joong-ki and Shin Hyun-bin finished the filming for the highly-anticipated “Youngest Son of a Conglomerate”

Actors Song Joong-ki, Lee Sung-min, and Shin Hyun-bin have finished filming “Youngest Son of a Conglomerate.”

According to broadcasting insiders on July 29th, Song Joong-ki, Lee Sung-min and Shin Hyun-bin recently finished filming JTBC’s new drama “Youngest Son of a Conglomerate” (directed by Jung Dae-yoon, written by Kim Tae-hee and Jang Eun-jae). However, the entire filming will continue until August with the remaining scenes of other actors.

“Youngest Son of a Conglomerate” is a fantasy drama in which Yoon Hyun-woo (Song Joong-ki), a secretary who manages the owner’s risk of a conglomerate family, revives as that family’s youngest son and plans his revenge, based on a web novel of the same name.

Song Joong-ki plays the main character Yoon Hyun-woo. Yoon Hyun-woo is abandoned after being falsely accused despite being loyal to the cruiser, but he soon returns as Jin Do-joon, the youngest son of the cruiser, and tries to take over the cruiser group using the future he already knows about.

Lee Sung-min also played the role of Jin Yang-cheol, the head of the conglomerate, and Shin Hyun-bin played the role of Seo Min-young, a prosecutor of the anti-corruption committee. On top of that, a number of trustworthy actors such as Yoon Je-moon, Cho Han-cheol, Park Ji-hyun, Kim Jung-nan, Kim Young-jae, and Kim Shin-rok appeared to complete a solid lineup. Tiffany Young, a member of Girls’ Generation, will also challenge an acting role through this drama.

“Youngest Son of a Conglomerate” is considered one of the most notable works in the second half of this year as word of mouth has already spread in the industry that “the script is fun and solid.” In particular, given that this is Song Joong-ki’s next work after proving his true value with tvN’s “Vincenzo,” expectations for “Youngest Son of a Conglomerate” are considerably high.

Writer Kim Tae-hee and writer Jang Eun-jae of “60 Days, Designated Survivor,” “Beautiful Mind” and “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” wrote the script, while director Chung Dae-yoon of “W,” “She Was Pretty” and “Not a Robot” will be in charge of directing. After finishing filming, the drama will be broadcasted in the second half of 2022.
