Song Joong Ki and pregnant wife Katy to hold another wedding of the century after marriage registration
Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders will hold a wedding ceremony after completing their marriage registration.
On January 30th, HighZium Studio, Song Joong Ki’s agency, told Wikitree, “It is true that Song Joong Ki has registered his marriage with Katy. The two are also planning to hold a wedding ceremony. However, the specific schedule has not been set yet.”
Earlier, Song Joong Ki said on his official fancafe post to fans, “I promised to share my future life with Katy Louise Saunders, who has spent and cherished our precious time with me.”
He continued, “We’re on our way to register our marriage to make a new start in our life as a couple based on our deep trust and love.”
Then, of his girlfriend-turned-wife Katy, Song Joong Ki said, “She is a person with a good heart, someone who lives her life passionately. She is respectfully wise and wonderful. Thanks to her, I am becoming a better person.”
Song Joong Ki added, “Naturally, we hoped to create a happy family together. We have made a lot of efforts to keep each other’s promises, and thankfully, a precious life has come to us,” revealing Katy’s pregnancy.
Song Joong Ki debuted through the movie “A Frozen Flower” in 2008. He became a global star after appearing in various famous dramas, such as “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”, “Nice Guy”, “Descendants of the Sun”,”Arthdal Chronicles”, “Vincenzo”, and “Reborn Rich”.
In October 2017, Song Joong Ki married actress Song Hye Kyo, his co-star in “Descendants of the Sun”, but divorced after 1 year and 9 months.
Later in 2021, he met Katy through the introduction of an acquaintance, and the two developed into lovers. Song Joong Ki did not even hide his romantic relationship as Katy was seen accompanying him to “Reborn Rich” media conference held at the World Sentosa Colosseum in Singapore on the 7th of last month.
Confirming Song Joong Ki’s dating news, his agency said, “Song Joong Ki is meeting a woman with good feelings”. However, they did not disclose the identity of the actor’s girlfriend.
Katy’s father is British and her mother is Colombian. She made her debut in the 2002 film “A Scandalous Journey”. After completing the promotion for “Welcome Home” in 2019, Katy stopped all acting activities.
Song Joong Ki will hold another “wedding of the century” with Katy and be with her in the second act of her life.
