Song Ji-hyo once again caused controversy
In episode 683, the Running Man team carried out a tour to celebrate the 60th birthday of the eldest member, Ji Seokjin.
While on the bus, Song Ji-hyo told Ji Seokjin that she thought today was a suitable day for him to have a second child. The statement surprised Ji Seokjin, prompting him to ask for clarification.
Song Ji-hyo continued, suggesting that he should have a passionate night for himself. Other members, including Yoo Jaesuk and HaHa, explained to Ji Seokjin that it was likely a misunderstanding on Song Ji-hyo’s part, as she confused the concept of a birthday celebration with a wedding. Earlier in the opening segment, members introduced the day as a celebration of Ji Seokjin’s 60th birthday led by Yang Sechan. After that, Song Ji-hyo said, “At this age, shouldn’t he book a hotel room today to create a second child?”
Immediately after this episode aired, K-netizens had rather negative comments regarding Song Ji-hyo’s joke.
