A new video uploaded to Song Ji Hyo‘s YouTube channel on July 23 showed the actress heading out alone for her summer camping trip.

Battling the scorching heat and swarms of insects throughout the day, Song eventually twisted her hair up and secured it with her familiar claw clip, giving viewers an unfiltered look at the realities of camping.

Fans quickly noticed the hairstyle’s return and reacted with mixed opinions. Comments included, “The claw clip is back again,” “Her staff really wanted her to dress up more for YouTube shoots,” and “Considering how hot the weather was that day, it was understandable.”

Previously, Song Ji Hyo’s YouTube channel featured an episode with her longtime hairstylist, makeup artist, and stylist, who openly discussed her fashion and beauty habits.

During the episode, her hairstylist candidly admitted that she wished Song would stop relying on the claw clip.

“I honestly wish I could burn that claw clip,” the hairstylist joked. “Don’t wear it when you’re working only use it at home. Whenever you go out, I really hope you’ll put a little more effort into your appearance. Even when filming for YouTube, let’s look a bit prettier.”

In response, Song Ji Hyo said, “I’ll try not to wear the claw clip as much as possible. But please don’t tell me to stop using it completely,” offering what she described as a compromise.

However, the latest camping vlog once again featured the actress wearing the claw clip, proving that her affection for the practical hairstyle remains unchanged despite her staff’s playful objections.
