On March 15th, Song Il Kook posted several photos on his social media along with the caption: “Triplets Over Flowers 6 (with their cousin). Thank you to the fans who wished Daehan, Minguk, and Manse a happy birthday.”
He continued, “Since it’s their birthday, they specially allowed me to upload photos from the trip we took with their grandmother during winter vacation.” He added humorously, “Now Daehan is taller than me. For reference, my height is 185 cm. They’re all in the second year of middle school now, so I spend every day praying as they grow up.”
In the photos he shared, the triplets appear almost unrecognizable compared to their younger selves. While their youthful faces remain, their long limbs and tall frames give them model-like proportions. In particular, Daehan is said to have already surpassed his father’s height of 185 cm, surprising many fans.
The growth of the triplets has also been mentioned in previous broadcasts.
Last year, when Song Il Kook appeared on the ENA variety show I Missed You: Choi Hwa Jung and Kim Ho Young, he gave an update about his sons, revealing that they had recently started middle school.

He also spoke honestly about their studies. Song Il Kook shared that Manse tends to feel stressed about schoolwork. “When I told him he should do his homework, he widened his eyes at me,” he said. “So I told him to take a break first and then continue later.”
When asked whether Daehan and Minguk were good students, Song Il Kook jokingly replied, “Their mom is a judge, so they manage to keep up with their studies,” drawing laughter from the audience.
Meanwhile, Song Il Kook married a judge in 2008 and later welcomed the triplets Daehan, Minguk, and Manse. The three brothers became nationwide favorites after appearing on the popular KBS2 variety show The Return of Superman from 2014 to 2016, where their catchphrase “Daehan, Minguk, Manse!” captured the hearts of viewers across South Korea.
