Actress Kim Hee Sun revealed a touching anecdote regarding her close friend Song Hye Kyo.
On the morning of August 10th, Kim Hee Sun shared various stories about the movie “Honey Sweet” through a video interview with Wikitree.
“Honey Sweet” (directed by Lee Han) is a romantic comedy about a single mother who raises a child alone while working for a confectionery company. Kim Hee Sun will return to the screen after 10 years as Il Young, an extrovert who goes straight without going back under any circumstances in the movie.
It was known that actress Song Hye Kyo attended the VIP preview earlier, drawing attention. Kim Hee Sun and Song Hye Kyo have been maintaining their friendship for decades, such as certifying private meetings through SNS.
In this regard, Kim Hee Sun said, “We don’t meet each other every day, but we talk on the phone often. This time, I asked her, ‘How did the movie come out?’ She told me, ‘You don’t have to worry.’ Nevertheless, I was anxious, so she found links to good articles and sent them all to me.”
Kim Hee Sun described Song Hye Kyo as a younger sister like an older sister. She caused laughter by saying, “I’m a bit strong in words or personality, but Hye Kyo is very quiet. Hye Kyo tends to listen to stories well, while I like to act cute. We changed our positions.”
She added, “Both of us like to drink wine. I think this also played a role (in continuing our friendship). Besides, our likes, including dogs, are similar.”
The movie “Honey Sweet” starring Kim Hee Sun, Yoo Hae Jin, Jin Seon Kyu and Han Sun Hwa will be released on August 15th.
