For Song Hye-kyo to make a special appearance in a drama or film is the first time in 28 years since her debut, and this decision was made because of her loyalty to writer Kim Eun-sook. “Everything Will Come True” is a new work by writer Kim Eun-sook, who previously worked with Song Hye-kyo on KBS 2TV’s “Descendants of the Sun” and Netflix’s original series “The Glory”. The two are close friends in the entertainment industry, and Kim Eun-sook revealed her extraordinary affection for Song Hye-kyo by stating on a radio show last year, “To me, she’s religion.”

Typically, special appearances are conducted with no guarantee, so they usually do not involve much travel time and are mainly filmed domestically. However, despite the fact that filming for “Everything Will Come True” is taking place in Dubai, Song Hye-kyo flew for 10 hours to maintain her loyalty to Kim Eun-sook.

“Everything Will Come True” is a romantic comedy directed by director Lee Byeong-heon of the films “Extreme Job”, “Dream”, JTBC’s “Be Melodramatic” and features actors such as Kim Woo-bin, Suzy, Song Hye-kyo and Ahn Eun-jin. It is about the story that begins when over-emotional Genie and emotionless Ga-young, who hold the power to determine each other’s life and death, are given three wishes that they don’t know if it’s luck or punishment. The filming is scheduled to be completed by the second half of this year, and the work will be broadcast in 2025.

As for her next project, Song Hye-kyo has chosen the movie “Dark Nuns”. This marks her return to the big screen after about 10 years since “My Brilliant Life” in 2014. “Dark Nuns” tells the story of dark nuns who perform exorcism and is the second story following the 2015 film “The Priests”. In addition to Song Hye-kyo, Jeon Yeo-been, Lee Jin-wook, Heo Joon-ho and Moon Woo-jin will also star in the film, which began filming on Feb 22nd.
