Song Hye Kyo shed tears from laughing when a fan nailed her iconic line from “The Glory”

A fan at “The Glory” Part 2 GV event surprised Song Hye Kyo by impersonating her line in the official trailer.

On March 8th, Netflix held a live GV event for “The Glory” Part 2 on its official Youtube channel. The cast actors drew attention as they revealed several spoilers about Part 2 as well as behind-the-scenes stories of the filming.

During the event, a fan made the whole recording studio burst into laughter with her impersonation of Song Hye Kyo. The fan reenacted the scene where Song Hye Kyo shouted “Stop laughing like that” in the official trailer for “The Glory” Part 2. In that scene, Song Hye Kyo amazed everyone with the way she conveyed feelings of contempt, fear, horror, and anger in only one line.

The fan asked, “Is there a part where your acting makes you think ‘Wow, I really nailed it’?”. When MC Jae Jae, the host of the GV event, asked back, “Can you show us that part?”. The fan replied “Please let me stay focused a little bit” without any embarrassment.

The fan then shyly acted out a scene in which Song Hye Kyo angrily said “Stop laughing like that”. Song Hye Kyo was surprised by her fan’s performance and even shed tears from laughing too hard. Jae Jae responded, “You must have watched the trailer more than 200 times. That’s great”, drawing laughter from everyone.

Song Hye Kyo also commented, “There are scenes where I thought, ‘I nailed it’”, adding “Not just one or two scenes. I think all the actors feel that way. You can look forward to it”, raising expectations. The actress then smiled shyly and rubbed her cheek, looking satisfied.

Especially that day, screenwriter Kim Eun-sook directly mentioned the rumor related to Jung Sung Il in “The Glory.”

The rumor was that the reason Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il) married Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), who was poor in both property and appearance and lives promiscuously was that he has aspermia and can divorce her anytime.

In this regard, Kim Eun Sook said, “There is no problem with Ha Do Young. Jung Sung Il will have to receive many other works, so please don’t say that”, explaining the rumors of Ha Do Young having aspermia.

She also said, “I read a theory of the drama where someone wrote, ‘It’s a battle between people who believe in God and non-believers.’ I was surprised because they got the big picture right. Park Yeon Jin relies on shamanism, Lee Sa Ra is Christian, and Choi Hye Jung is Buddhist, but Moon Dong Eun doesn’t believe in any God and tries to punish herself. If you watch Part 2, you’ll feel that there is a God. You won’t be disappointed.”

Part 2 of “The Glory” will be released on Netflix at 5 p.m. on March 10th.
