Song Hye Kyo destroys “broken friendship” rumors with one interaction during an award show

Song Hye Kyo responded to ongoing allegations about her broken friendship with one gesture. 

Song Hye Kyo is, undoubtedly, a top actress in the acting scene with a series of drama hits under her sleeves. Apart from her personal life, the actress also had a dream, but short-lived, marriage to A-list actor Song Joong Ki.

After her controversial, much-talked-about divorce from Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo rarely openly reveals information about her private life. Her failed marriage also supposedly impacts other relationships in her life. Recently, rumors circulate that something bad has gone down with the trio Song Hye Kyo – Son Ye Jin – Gong Hyo Jin.

In the past, Song Hye Kyo dated Hyun Bin for two years before breaking up in 2011, prior to Hyun Bin’s enlistment. After “Crash Landing on You,” Hyun Bin went public with Son Ye Jin in 2021 and got married a year after. 

Afterward, Song Hye Kyo and Son Ye Jin are rarely seen hanging out in public. In addition, Gong Hyo Jin frequently interacts and hangs out with Ye Jin more than with Song Hye Kyo, sparking rumors about an unstable friendship. 

It was not until this year’s “2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards” that Song Hye Kyo dispelled all rumors about her personal life. When “The Glory” star walked up to the stage to receive her Daesang, Gong Hyo Jin gave her a big hug in celebration of the actress’ major achievement. 

Without having to use words, the interaction between them single-handedly cleared the circulating rumors about Song Hye Kyo’s friendship with other stars. In addition, Song Hye Kyo has been amicable with Song Joong Ki’s relationship, showing that she is living her best single life without jealousy or drama.
