Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee reportedly cast to lead the new drama by director Lee Eung-bok
Actresses Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee will star in the same drama.
On August 29th, Sports Kyunghyang reported the news that Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee will work together in director Lee Eungbok’s new drama “The Price of Confession” (produced by Studio Dragon.
“The Price of Confession” is a work that depicts the bloody chronicle of two women involved in a murder case. Director Lee Eung-bok, who was behind the success of Netflix’s “Sweet Home”, tvN’s “Mr. Sunshine” and “Jirisan”, will hold the megaphone for this new drama. In addition, screenwriter Kwon Jong-kwan, who scripted and directed the film “Sad Movie” and “Proof of Innocence”, will be in charge of writing the script for “The Price of Confession”.
In this work, Song Hye-kyo will play art teacher Ahn Yoon-soo, and Han So-hee will appear as Mo-eun, a mysterious woman whose identity is unknown. Ahn Yoon-soo is a character who dreams of small happiness but gets caught up in an unexpected event that changes her life completely. Although everyone is afraid of Mo-eun because of her antisocial personality, she at least reaches out to Yoon-soo and shows her a new world.
Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee will meet each other in one drama for the first time through this work. Song Hye-kyo starred in KBS2’s drama “Descendants of the Sun” directed by Lee Eung-bok as Kang Mo-yeon in 2016 and has maintained her friendship with the director since then.
