The dating rumors between BTS’s Jimin and actress Song Da Eun have taken a new turn as Song’s fans step forward with a supportive statement.
On August 27, Song Da Eun posted a video on her personal channel that reignited dating speculation. The clip showed her waiting at an elevator before Jimin appeared, greeting her warmly. Fans noted this was the first direct “two-shot” of the alleged couple, giving weight to the ongoing rumors.
Song Da Eun had previously fueled speculation with posts of couple-style items and photos that fans believed hinted at her connection with Jimin. However, this has also led to a wave of malicious comments directed at her. Responding to criticism, she stated, “Please don’t come to me with questions about someone else’s matters. I’m mentally fine. Stop trying to scare me by saying how scary a fandom is or how I might be sued.”
In response to the continuous online backlash, Song Da Eun’s fans published an official statement on the same day.
“We quietly support the love Song Da Eun has chosen. We hope that love grows stronger, not by others’ gaze but within the time the two build together,” they wrote. “Her choice should not be shaken by outside opinions. Its meaning lies only in the memories they create as a couple.”

Song Da Eun made her debut in the 2011 drama Can’t Lose and rose to wider recognition through the dating reality show Heart Signal 2. She later built her acting career with roles in Be Melodramatic, Once Again, and Outing.
