Son Ye-jin To Act Alongside Lee Byung-hun In Park Chan-wook’s New Project
Son Ye-jin will make a comeback as an actress by joining Lee Byung-hun in the new project by director Park Chan-wook
According to the movie industry on April 2nd, Son Ye-jin received a casting offer for a new project directed by Park Chan-wook and decided to star in the work. This is Son Ye-jin’s first time working with director Park Chan-wook.
The actress will also resume her acting activities after more than two years since the release of JTBC’s drama “Thirty Nine”, which ended in March 2022.
Son Ye-jin married actor Hyun Bin on March 31st, 2021, and took a break from acting after giving birth to their first son in November of the same year.
The new project featuring Son Ye-jin and Park Chan-wook’s collaboration is known to be the work that director Park has been preparing as the masterpiece of his life. However, it is still too early to announce more details because they are still finalizing the copyright contract.
Earlier, Lee Byung-hun already decided to appear in this work. This will also be the first time Son Ye-jin and Lee Byung-hun act together.
The project is under preparation with an aim to start filming in the second half of this year.
