On the April 9 broadcast, MBC’s popular variety show Save Me! Holmes explored Seoul’s famous “wedding preparation road,” spotlighting the city’s elite wedding styling industry during peak bridal season. Joining the segment were Heo Young Ji, Mijoo, and entertainer Yang Se Chan, who toured several well-known wedding venues and styling shops.
One of the most talked-about stops was a high-end hair and makeup salon famous for handling bridal beauty for top stars such as Son Ye Jin, Lee Min Jung, and actress Park Shin Hye.

According to the salon’s pricing breakdown, bridal makeup by a general designer costs ₩800,000 per session, or ₩1.6 million for two sessions. Makeup by a deputy director rises to ₩1.1 million per session.
However, the premium package handled by the salon director drew the most attention: ₩2.5 million for one session, or ₩5 million for two sessions.
A salon representative explained that the director-level bridal package includes makeup services for both bride and groom, private use of an exclusive makeup room, and even limousine transportation service.

The eye-popping figures stunned the cast, with model and TV personality Joo Woo Jae joking, “I’d be trembling when removing that makeup at night.”
The episode also featured emotional wedding-related stories from the cast. Heo Young Ji shared that she cried so much the day before her older sister’s wedding that she arrived at the ceremony with swollen eyes.
Meanwhile, Joo Woo Jae surprised viewers by revealing he had also broken down in tears at his brother’s wedding. Recalling the moment, he said he unexpectedly burst into tears while singing the congratulatory song and ended up sobbing through the performance.
As celebrity weddings continue to captivate public attention, the revelation offers a rare glimpse into the extravagant beauty budgets behind Korea’s most glamorous bridal ceremonies.
