After “Confession Couple”, Son Ho Jun and Jang Na Ra will collaborate for the second time through “Happy End”
According to Star News on April 7th, Son Ho Jun confirmed his appearance as the male lead in TV Chosun’s new drama “Happy End” starring Jang Na Ra.
“Happy End” tells the story of Seo Jae Won, who is obsessed with and chases after success as she had an unfortunate childhood, at the same time tries to escape from her unhealthy desires and obsessions. PD Jo Soo Won of the dramas “Today’s Webtoon” and “Doctor John” will be in charge of directing.
Seo Jae Won (played by Jang Na Ra) is the representative of a household furniture brand who is constantly on the run to satisfy her endless desires in a meticulous and cool-headed manner. As Son Ho Jun plays the male lead, the chemistry between the two is highly-anticipated.
This is the second time Son Ho Jun and Jang Na Ra work together, after KBS 2TV’s drama “Confession Couple”, which aired in 2017. In “Confession Couple”, the two were praised for their “perfect chemistry” by playing a couple who are struggling through daily lives that leave them exhausted and unhappy.
At that time, “Confession Couple” was well received with the highest viewership rating of 7.3%. Son Ho Jun and Jang Na Ra even won the Best Couple Award at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards. Expectations are high on how the two will reunite in “Happy End”.
“Happy End” is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
