Some fans expressed concern as BLACKPINK’s concert ticket price soared to 260,000 won

As the idol group BLACKPINK plans to meet fans around the world through their world tour, everyone’s eyes were on the ticket price of the Seoul concert.

On August 16th, the schedule and ticket price of “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] SEOUL” were revealed on the online reservation site Interpark Ticket.

According to the announcement, the most expensive “Platinum Pink” was set at 264,000 won. If you reserve this area, you can watch BLACKPINK members do sound checks before the concert begins.

In addition, special goods will be provided to fans who reserve this area.

The second most expensive “BLINK Plus” costs 176,000 won, and you can watch sound checks from this seat as well. The “BLINK Standard” seat is 154,000 won.

Some fans who saw the announcement expressed regret over the soaring ticket price.

The price of BLACKPINK’s third debut anniversary fan meeting “BLACKPINK 2019 PRIVATE STAGE [Chapter 1]” held in 2019 was 88,000 won for VIP seats and 77,000 won for R seats.

Besides, the price of BLACKPINK’s first world tour concert “BLACKPINK 2018 TOUR [IN YOUR AREA] SEOUL X BC CARD” held in 2018 was 110,000 won for all seats.

The price of concert tickets has more than doubled in recent years.

BLACKPINK’s concert ticket price is not small compared to other singers.

The price of BTS’ “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL” held in March was 220,000 won for VIP seats and 165,000 won for general seats.

The price of IU’s concert “The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun” to be held in September is 165,000 won for VIP seats, 143,000 won for R seats, 121,000 won for S seats and 99,000 won for A seats.

The price of VIP seats at IU’s concert and regular seats at BLACKPINK’s concert is set at a similar level.

On the other hand, some said that fans who reserve the most expensive “Platinum Pink” among seats at BLACKPINK’s concert can see the members preparing for performances and receive goods, so it is a bit unreasonable to think that the ticket price is expensive.

However, some expressed concern that other singers’ concert ticket price might also rise after BLACKPINK’s concert.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s concert will be held at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena (KSPO) for two days from October 15th to 16th.
