The day before, an unexplained fire broke out at the factory located in Daejeon’s Daedeok-gu. The smell of burning tires spread, causing residents of nearby apartments to evacuate, and some sections of the highway were restricted, causing inconvenience for the residents.

As of now, it has been reported that 11 people, including 10 workers who were transported to the hospital due to smoke inhalation and one firefighter, were affected by the fire.

Among them, it appears that Soyeon and her husband, who live in Daejeon, also suffered from the fire.

Soyeon shared, “I came out of my house urgently because the smoke was so severe that it smelled terrible. I came to the hotel closest to the apartment with other residents. We talked about the situation of the fire evacuation. Today, the wind is blowing a lot, so it seems like the fire got worse. It’s really unfortunate.

She also said, “I can’t see the fire very well, but the police are controlling everything. The smoke and smell are so bad that my eyes hurt. Fortunately, I’m staying at Lee Jin Hyun’s house, so I’m grateful for his help.

They were planning to have their wedding in November of the same year, but it was postponed when Cho was selected for the Korean national team to compete at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. They officially became a legally married couple on November 1st.
