Snowdrop’s rating rises again after BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has her first on-screen kiss

The viewership ratings of most weekend K-dramas increase.

On January 17, TV Chosun’s remake of “Uncle” saw a spectacular rating increase. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama’s latest episode achieved an average nationwide rating of 8.3%, reaching a new peak.

The rating of “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” also increased in the latest episode, hitting an all-time high of 11.2%. Coincidentally, both dramas that broke their own rating records over the weekend do not receive much promotion from their broadcasters. With good quality, they draw much attention domestically despite not gaining popularity among international viewers.
