“Snowdrop” to air all scenes of the late Kim Mi-soo without editing, Jisoo, Jung Hae-in and the cast paid tribute to her

The actors and the production team of “Snowdrop” paid their tribute to the late Kim Mi-soo.

In the latest episode of JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Snowdrop,” which aired on January 8th, the late Kim Mi-soo, who starred as Yeo Jung-min of Ho-su Women’s University, appeared without any editing.

Yeo Jung-min (Kim Mi-soo) delicately expressed her resentment after being caught up in Lim Soo-ho (Jeong Hae-in) hostage play, increasing her immersion in the drama. At the end of the broadcast, the production team remembered the late actor by showing a bonus video of the students of Ho-su Women’s University cooking ramen together while avoiding the dorm manager Pi Seung-hee (Yoon Se-ah).

The late Kim Mi-soo suddenly passed away on Jan 5th. “Snowdrop” has already been pre-recorded, but the production team is said to have discussed with the bereaved families whether the footage of the late actor should be aired. The broadcast added to the melancholy that it was the first broadcast since the deceased passed away.

There was also a tribute wave among the members of “Snowdrop”. BLACKPINK Jisoo, who plays the role of Eun Young-ro, posted several photos in memories of the late Kim Mi-soo along with the caption “My Dear No. 207.

Jeong Hae-in also expressed his longing by posting a photo of him with the Kim Mi-soo without any comment. Kim Hye-yoon said, “I love you so much,” and Yoon Se-ah also wrote, “I love you.”

Jung Shin-hye, who plays Ko Hye-ryeong in the play, said, “I miss you. Let’s see each other later. There are so many things I want to say, but when I see you, I’ll hold you tight and tell you. I love you. Let’s meet again,” she mourned for the late actor.

Choi Hee-jin, who plays Yoon Seol-hee, said, “You know I really like you a lot, right? I’m sure you know the best. Come to think of it, I was clingy to you on the set. Kim Mi-soo, a Korea National University of Arts graduate, appeared in the play “Safety Family“, drama series “Hi Bye, Mama!” and “The School Nurse Files.” In “Snowdrop,” she played the role of Yeo Jung-min, a senior in the History Department of Ho-su Women’s University and an activist student.
