SM Entertainment’s new boy group, RIIZE, has become the fastest male idol group to exceed 1 million followers on Instagram.
RIIZE, a boy group under SM Entertainment, has surpassed 1 million Instagram followers, drawing attention even before their official debut.
In particular, the official Instagram account of RIIZE, which is the first rookie group to debut under SM Entertainment since aespa, was opened on August 1st. Within 4 days, RIIZE’s Instagram account has reached the 1 million benchmark, making them the fastest Kpop group to surpass 1 million Instagram followers.
On the other hand, the name of RIIZE is a combination of the words “Rise” (to grow) and “Realize” (to achieve). As they geared up for a September debut, the group has attracted considerable interest.
At the same time, it is known that Lee Chan Young, the son of famous singer Yoon Sang, will become a member of RIIZE under the stage name “Anton”. Lee Chan Young was a promising junior swimmer in the United States, but decided to pursue a new dream in the Kpop industry.
In addition to Lee Chan Young (Anton), RIIZE consists of members Eunseok, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, Sungchan, and Shotaro.
