The agency stressed, “The mentioned behaviors have become so serious that it is difficult for the artist to handle by herself, which is the reason why she is suffering from great mental pain and having a tough time”, adding “Our company will make sure to legally punish those who committed malicious acts without leniency and agreement. Please be aware that any act of posting malicious posts at this moment may be subject to punishment”.

Lastly, SM said, “Once again, we strongly emphasized that such behaviors are criminal acts that damage an individual’s honor and dignity and warn that perpetrators will be severely punished under relevant laws and regulations. We sincerely warn you all to stop attacking the artist.”

Meanwhile, BoA recently suffered a hard time due to malicious comments about her appearance after she appeared in tvN’s drama “Marry My Husband”. On her SNS account, she firmly scolded haters and complained of hurtful feelings. In addition, the female singer also confused fans by making remarks hinting at her retirement, such as “Now I can retire when my contract ends, right?”.
