On February 1, 2024, Big Planet Made Entertainment officially announced the termination of their exclusive contract with SISTAR’s Soyou, marking the end of their 3-year partnership.

First, we would like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have consistently shown love and support for singer Soyou.
We would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with singer Soyou expired on January 31, 2024.
Before the expiration of Soyou’s exclusive contract, we engaged in in-depth discussions and mutually respected each other’s opinions, leading to the decision to terminate the exclusive contract.
We sincerely thank Soyou for being with us for a considerable time, and we will continue to support her as she ventures into various fields as a fantastic artist.
We ask for your unwavering love and support for Soyou as she embarks on a new beginning.

Soyou, who debuted as part of the girl group SISTAR in 2010, had maintained an 11-year connection with Starship Entertainment until their separation in 2021. Following that, she entered an exclusive contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment.
At the time of signing with Big Planet Made, Soyou expressed her commitment to meeting fans through various activities. Subsequently, she engaged in diverse entertainment programs such as “Stars Awakening”, “Hokangseu Malgo Seukangseu”, and “Legendary hole-in-one”.
Last year, she also released new music such as “Farewell Everyday” and “Summer Recipe”.
