Singer HyunA tried to evoke reactions from the audience at the Waterbomb to heat up the stage, but to no avail.
Of late, the famous Water Theme Music Festival, Waterbomb Festival, took place in Bangkok, Thailand. The event gathered famous names from Korea, such as Zico, Yugyeom (GOT7), CL, HyunA, and many more. A recently shared clip of HyunA interacting with the audience is gaining traction.
In the released clip, HyunA sang some lines from the song “How’s this?” released in 2016 to heat up the stage. However, she was only met with silence. The singer was visibly confused when there was no reaction. Nonetheless, she finished the segment, albeit with difficulty.
Netizens’ reactions remain divisive. While some believe the lukewarm reaction was bewildering, others feel it was understandable. The argument goes, as the festival gathers people from different places, coupled with the fact that “How’s this?” was released long ago, not everyone would know what song she was singing, and what HyunA was trying to do.
