Shinsadong Tiger Revealed To Have Financial Difficulties Before His Death, “He Has To Borrow Even $75”

The whereabouts of Shinsadong Tigers before his death were reported, attracting attention.

An official told the media outlet, “A few days ago, Shinsadong Tiger borrowed money from a composer who is his acquaintance, and the amount was around 100,000 won (approximately $75),” adding, “I wondered why a famous composer and rich copyright holder like him didn’t have such little money.”

Another official said, “I talked to him until 9 p.m. last night due to business issues, but he didn’t seem depressed at all. It was nothing different from usual.” It turned out that Shinsadong Tiger was preparing for the comeback of boy group TAN.

In fact, the producer applied for debtor rehabilitation to the court in 2017. At the time, Shinsadong Tiger reportedly wrote in the application that he had “a debt from a business and even failed to recover the funds lent to another company.”

At that time, the court accepted a rehabilitation plan to pay off 70% of Shinsadong’s debt over 10 years. Accordingly, it is said that he also lost some of the copyrights he held.

Earlier today, the police announced that Shinsadong tiger was found dead at 41 years old. According to the police, an acquaintance visited him because he could not contact the deceased, and finally found his body. The exact cause of death is not known and police are still investigating the case.

Meanwhile, the deceased worked as a hit song maker during his lifetime. His works include T-ara’s “Bo peep Bo peep,” “Roly Poly,” and Apink’s “MY MY.”
