Shin Ye Eun mentions her older sister, “During my school days, I was called ‘Shin XX’s younger sister’ more than my name”

Actress Shin Ye Eun talked about her biological older sister in a recent interview.

On April 1st, the Youtube channel “THE STAR MAGAZINE” uploaded a video titled “SHINYEEUN Behind-the-scene stories of ‘The Glory’ released for the first time by ‘young Yeon Jin’”.

When asked about her role model, the actress answered, “My older sister”. 

She explained, “When I was young, I was called ‘XXX’s younger sister’ more than my name when I went to school. I didn’t like that at first, but at some point, there are so many things to learn from her as she’s my role model, and I ask for a lot of advice and rely on her a lot as well.”

Regarding her actual personality, Shin Ye Eun said, “I actually don’t know either. I think I have various looks”, adding “Sometimes I’m very bright, sometimes I’m very quiet”.

Revealing “being blunt” as the thing she does only with people she is close to, the actress explained, “When I’m with close friends, I say less than 10 words for almost 3 hours. I mostly listen to them”, surprising everyone with her unexpected side.

Meanwhile, Shin Ye Eun played the childhood of Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), the main school violence perpetrator in Netflix’s recently popular series “The Glory”. She is starring in SBS’s drama “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” as the female lead Yoon Dan Oh.
