Actress Shin Min Ah completely captivated Lee Young Ji with her signature charm and lovable personality.
From her views on marriage to her surprisingly low alcohol tolerance, Shin Min Ah openly shared personal stories, prompting Lee Young Ji to confess, “I feel like I’d do anything you told me to do.”
On June 19, Shin Min Ah appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel Nothing Much Prepared, ahead of the release of her upcoming film The Eyes.
From the moment she arrived, the atmosphere was noticeably different.
Lee Young Ji, who has frequently mentioned Shin Min Ah as her ideal type, greeted her enthusiastically, calling her “Korea’s ultimate lovely icon” and “the sister whose vibe I truly admire.”
As soon as Shin Min Ah appeared, Lee Young Ji couldn’t hide her admiration and continued showering her with compliments.
At one point, Lee Young Ji revealed that she had always wanted to try a soju-beer mix made by Shin Min Ah herself and asked the actress to prepare one.
However, contrary to expectations, Shin Min Ah’s soju-beer mixing skills turned out to be surprisingly clumsy.
Each glass had a different ratio, and foam repeatedly overflowed from the cups. Watching the process, Lee Young Ji burst into laughter, joking, “This feels very solemn. It’s like watching someone do calligraphy.”
She then added, “I’m sorry since we just met, but I don’t think you’re very good at making soju bombs,” sending the set into laughter.
Shin Min Ah responded honestly, saying, “These days, I don’t really have an alcohol tolerance because I hardly drink.”
She continued, “When I was in my twenties and attended company dinners, I once drank about half a bottle of soju and ended up throwing up.”
The candid confession stood in stark contrast to her glamorous public image and further highlighted her down-to-earth personality.
Throughout the episode, Shin Min Ah spoke openly about everything from her new movie to her thoughts on dating and marriage. What stood out most, however, was the natural chemistry between her and Lee Young Ji.

Eventually, she carefully asked, “Can I call you sister?”
When Shin Min Ah happily agreed, Lee Young Ji broke into a bright smile.

Meanwhile, Shin Min Ah is set to meet audiences through the film The Eyes, which premieres on June 24. In the movie, she takes on the challenge of playing two roles simultaneously, marking another notable milestone in her acting career.
