A shocking online rumor recently threw veteran Korean singer Park Hye Kyung into the spotlight after a YouTuber uploaded a video alleging that she had engaged in multiple extramarital affairs and had even been caught on CCTV.
According to the YouTuber, the well-known singer had allegedly cheated on her husband more than 300 times after getting married. The video further claimed that security cameras had captured evidence of her supposed affair while her husband was away on a business trip.
The content creator also alleged that the relationship had severely damaged the singer’s reputation, fueling widespread speculation across online communities and social media platforms.
In response to the growing controversy, Park Hye Kyung has firmly denied all allegations. The singer pointed out a critical flaw in the claims, stating that she has never been married.

“I have never been married in my life,” she said. “So I don’t even have a husband. If there’s no husband, how could I possibly be having an affair? I have already reported this false accusation to the police.”
The singer also expressed frustration over the situation, revealing that she personally confronted the creator behind the video.
“I couldn’t tolerate it anymore, so I went directly to the video spreading the false information and left a comment,” she explained. “I even wrote, ‘You’re finished. I’m not going to let this slide.’ But I heard that due to YouTube’s policies, the video cannot be removed immediately. So I reported it directly to YouTube and received a response that they would handle it according to their procedures.”

This is not the first time Park Hye Kyung has had to publicly correct sensational rumors about her private life.
Back in late 2012, Korean media outlets reported that the singer had been drinking with a younger boyfriend before the pair allegedly got into an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Reports at the time claimed that Park Hye Kyung contacted police and was later rushed to a hospital after allegedly consuming 20 antidepressant pills in an apparent suicide attempt following the incident.
However, the singer quickly addressed those reports, clarifying that she had accidentally taken an excessive amount of medication, which caused her condition. Her representatives also stated that the man involved was a close friend, not her boyfriend as had been reported.
Born in 1974, Park Hye Kyung officially entered the Korean entertainment industry at the age of 23. After spending time performing in musical theater productions, she joined the lineup of the once-popular Korean group TheThe.
Several songs from TheThe’s debut album became major hits and dominated the Korean music scene during that era. The group continued its success with its second album, particularly through the track It’s You, which received widespread love from audiences across South Korea.

Following the release of the second album, Park Hye Kyung left TheThe to focus on her solo career.
Her solo career quickly flourished. From her debut solo album through her fourth release, the singer achieved remarkable commercial success and steadily strengthened her position in the Korean music industry.
During her peak years, her distinctive vocal tone and bright, uplifting melodies helped produce numerous chart-topping songs. Many of her hits were also selected for advertising campaigns by major brands, further cementing her status as one of South Korea’s most recognizable female singers.
