Actors Shin Min-ah and Kim Young-dae will play a fake married couple in the drama ‘Because I Don’t Want to Suffer Loss’.
On the 13th, Tving announced that the drama ‘Because I Don’t Want to Suffer Loss’ is set to be released in 2024.
‘Because I Don’t Want to Suffer Loss’ is a romantic drama in which Son Hae-young (played by Shin Min-ah), who avoids suffering any kind of loss no matter when, where, or with whom, stages a fake wedding, and Kim Ji-wook (played by Kim Young-dae), a man who becomes a fake groom because he doesn’t want to cause harm. They lives as a married couple.
Son Hae-young is a woman who avoids suffering losses in any situation, no matter when, where, or with whom. She’s a person who even creates a break-even point in her relationships because she had to share her mother’s love with others since she was young.
When she faces the risk of missing a promotion at work, she decides to go for a fake marriage.
Kim Young-dae, who takes on the role of Kim Ji-wook, is a part-time convenience store worker known as a community police officer in his neighborhood. He is a person with a kind-hearted personality who can’t turn away from those in need. With a responsible work ethic, Kim Ji-wook is the perfect convenience store worker.
While working at the convenience store, he meets Son Hae-young, a customer with whom he oddly doesn’t get along, and when he receives a proposal from her, he doesn’t reject it. That’s how they become a fake couple.
The drama ‘Because I Don’t Want to Suffer Loss’ goes beyond romance and comedy. The director in charge of the drama is Kim Jung-sik, known for ‘Work Later, Drink Now,’ and the script is handled by Kim Hye-young, who portrayed ‘Her Private Life.’
