Shin Hyun Bin’s real name is Kwak Hyun Bin. She was born on April 10th 1986. With her father working in the design field, she got to know about arts from her young age. Once dreamed of becoming a painter like her father, she decided to study Art Theory at the prestigious university – Korea National University of Arts. This was the school of many A-class celebrities in the Korean entertainment industry, such as Jang Dong Gun, Kim Dong Wook, Lee Sun Kyun, etc. Moreover, it is said that the Department of Art Theory only accepts 10 students every year.
However, Shin Hyun Bin decided to pursue acting after recognizing her true ambition and passion. Once set a goal to become an artist or an exhibition planner, as much as she learned she realized this field didn’t suit her.
