The synchronization between the new drama “See You in My 19th Life” and the webtoon version surprised netizens.
tvN’s new Sat-Sun series “See You in My 19th Life”, which will premiere on June 17th, tells the reincarnation romance that takes place when Ban Ji Eum, who can remember her past life, finds Moon Seo Ha, the person she has to meet again.
Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name by Lee Hey with over 700 million views, the project is directed by PD Lee Na Jung of “Mine”, “Love Alarm” and “Fight For My Way”, raising viewers’ expectations.
On May 10th, the production team of “See You in My 19th Life” unveiled the first teaser video. The teaser drew viewers’ attention as it features a compilation of the past lives of Ban Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun), her 19th reincarnation. Seeing a variety of Ban Ji Eum’s past lives, including an Arab alchemist in her 4th life, a Goryeo warrior in her 5th life, a flamenco dancer in her 14th life, and a circus performer in her 17th life, drama fans are looking forward to seeing how the connection between these diverse reincarnations and the 19th life will be portrayed. The scale of this reincarnation romance is expected to surpass all expectations, as Ban Ji Eum’s past lives transcend time, gender, and race.
In particular, the first teaser video also shows the first meeting between Ban Ji Eum and her ‘must-meet’ soulmate Moon Seo Ha (Ahn Bo Hyun), making viewers even more curious about the story. It hints that Ban Ji Eum will reunite with Moon Seo Ha at the end of her 19th life.

In this drama, Shin Hye Sun plays Ban Ji Eum, the woman in her 19th reincarnation who can remember her past lives. Ahn Bo Hyun takes on the role of Moon Seo Ha, who has a fateful connection with Ban Ji Eum in her 18th life. Ha Yoon Kyung will portray Yoon Cho Won, the younger sister of Yoon Joo Won, Ban Ji Eum’s past life (Kim Si A). Also, Ahn Dong Goo will appear as Ha Do Yoon, Seo Ha’s longtime friend and loyal secretary.
