Shin Ha-kyun, Lee Jung-ha, Jin Goo and Jo Aram confirmed to appear in tvN’s “Thank You”

tvN’s new drama “Thank You” is an office investigative drama set against the backdrop of the corrupt JU Construction audit office, showing the cold audit team leader and enthusiastic audit team members’ chaotic teamwork. With the central theme of the “audit team”, the drama boasts a reliable casting lineup that raises expectations.

Shin Ha-kyun takes on the role of Shin Cha-il, the team leader of the JU Construction audit office. Shin Cha-il, lacking trust in people, possesses judgment like a flash of light, decisive as a sword, overwhelming eloquence, and negotiation skills. Unswayed by emotions, blood ties, or delays, he is a relentless audit team leader to embezzlers, making Shin Ha-kyun’s portrayal of the character Shin Cha-il highly anticipated.

Playing the role of the new audit team member Gu Han-soo is Lee Jung-ha. Gu Han-soo, a representative figure of the MZ generation, applies to the audit team as a stepping stone to be appointed to JU Construction’s Florida branch. However, due to Shin Cha-il, his American dream is shattered, facing a crisis. Unlike Shin Cha-il, Gu Han-soo has a more affectionate and easygoing style, promising an impressive performance by the rising star Lee Jung-ha depicting Gu Han-soo’s unwavering growth despite almost being expelled from the audit team.

Jin Goo portrays Hwang Dae-woong, the vice president of JU Construction. Hwang Dae-woong, the youngest of the three sons of JU Construction’s founder, possesses charisma that can make anyone his person. With ambitions to surpass his brothers and rise to the position of president, he finds himself in a difficult situation when the president Hwang Se-woong recruits Shin Cha-il to the audit team. Jin Goo’s performance is eagerly awaited to vividly bring out the multifaceted aspects of Hwang Dae-woong, who oscillates between good and evil.

Jo Aram plays Yoon Seo-jin, another MZ generation rookie at the JU Construction audit office. Yoon Seo-jin is an individualist striving for success, showcasing a character at the opposite end of the spectrum compared to her colleague Gu Han-soo. Despite having a childhood connection with the vice president Hwang Dae-woong, they pretend not to know each other at the company. Jo Aram’s presence is expected to create tension and excitement as she goes back and forth between the audit office and the vice president’s line.

Overall, “Thank You” will depict the day-to-day activities of an internal audit office within a company, promising a thrilling catharsis as the audit team takes down embezzlers. The complex relationships and conflicts among JU Construction’s internal staff, combined with the actors’ performances, anticipate a spectacular synergy, making “Thank You” a highly anticipated drama. The drama is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
