“Sex 5 times a month, 5 million KRW for each additional time”, a top actress’ shocking prenuptial agreement

The bizarre prenuptial agreement of a famous actress before her marriage has been brought back into the spotlight.

Recently, various online communities have been discussing the marriage contract of Japanese actress Sawajiri Erika, which was introduced on JTBC’s “Love of 7.7 Billion”.

At the time, Japanese panelist Mizuki revealed the contents of a prenuptial agreement that actress Sawajiri Erika had written before her marriage to her wealthy husband.

Sawajiri Erika married Takahashi Tsuyoshi, who was 22 years older than her, in 2009, but expressed her intention to divorce the following year, in 2010.

According to Mizuki, during the divorce process, the contract that the couple had signed before their marriage was revealed to the media.

The contents of the contract were shocking: if Erika’s husband went on a date with another woman, he would have to pay Sawajiri Erika 100 million KRW (around 75,000 USD), and if he had sex, he would have to pay her 200 million KRW. It was possible to restore the marital relations, even if the couple cheated, as long as payment was made.

Interestingly, the contract also specified the number of times the couple could have sex; and according to Mizuki, the contract allowed them to have sex up to 5 times a month.

In particular, the husband could have sex with Sawajiri Erika up to 5 times a month, and for each additional time, he had to pay her 5 million KRW (around 3,700 USD).

Upon witnessing this prenuptial agreement, which was more scandalous than TV dramas, the panelists expressed a shocked reaction, saying, “Are they doing business or marriage?”

On the other hand, Sawajiri Erika, who gained popularity as Japan’s “nation’s younger sister”, married the 22 years older Takashiro Tsuyoshi, only to get divorced at a high speed.

In November 2019, she was arrested on suspicion of possessing 0.09g of synthetic drug powder in capsules at her home, and was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison, along with 3 years of probation.
