SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups to Sit Out of Group’s New Album Comeback Activities Due to Injury Treatment

S.Coups will be absent from SEVENTEEN’s activities for their 11th mini-album comeback 

SEVENTEEN‘s agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced on October 19th through Weverse, “S.Coups suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear in his left knee at the end of August and underwent anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery and lateral collateral ligament reconstruction surgery. He is currently focused on treatment and recovery.“

Pledis Entertainment added, “S.Coups recently underwent significant surgery during his hospital treatment process. It has been about two months since the surgery, and the injured area is still very fragile. At this stage, it is the most crucial time for rehabilitation treatment, and the medical team is concerned that any strenuous activities may be detrimental to his physical condition.“

The agency explained, “S.Coups had a strong desire to participate in the scheduled activities, but we have determined that it is advisable to prioritize the artist’s health and focus on recovery and rehabilitation. Therefore, S.Coups will find it challenging to participate in most of the official activities, including SEVENTEEN’s 11th mini-album ‘SEVENTEENth Heaven’ related schedules for the time being. We ask for the understanding of the fans.”

Pledis Entertainment assured fans that they will do their best to support S.Coups in a speedy recovery so that he can meet his fans in a healthy condition.
