Seventeen’s album is recognized as one of the best Kpop album in 2022
The US Time magazine released an article named ‘The Best K-pop Songs and Albums of 2022 So Far’ on its official website on the 7th (local time). According to the information released by Time magazine, Seventeen was named on the ‘2022 Best K-Pop Album’ with their 4th full-length album ‘Face the Sun’, which was released on the 27th of last month.
Time magazine introduced, “Face the Sun is all about Seventeen’s desire to become a force as impactful as the sun.” They then said: “Throughout the album, the artists use related imagery like light and darkness (“Shadow”) and fire and ashes (“Ash”) to describe overcoming their fears”, adding, “These songs pull from elements of other genres, too, but share propulsive beats and an explosive energy that signal the scorching trail Seventeen is bound to leave behind.”
Meanwhile, Seventeen swept the charts at home and abroad with ‘Face the Sun’. In the Initial Chodong, they recorded the sales of 2,067,769 copies, achieving the title of ‘Double Million Seller’
