SEVENTEEN named in Billboard’s 2023 Midyear Charts for Top Tours, as the only Kpop artist

Boy group SEVENTEEN is the only Kpop Artist to make it in Billboard’s 2023 midyear Boxscore charts for tour ticket sales and revenues.

On June 12th, Billboard published their 2023 Midyear Boxscore charts, which include tours with highest ticket sales and revenues in the first half of 2023. The data was collected from November 1st, 2022, to April 30th, 2023, and among those, SEVENTEEN made it to the Top 30 of the chart.

Notably, SEVENTEEN is the only Kpop artist to make the charts, grossing over 30 million USD from 8 shows in their recent world tour, “BE THE SUN”. With such a number, SEVENTEEN placed 27th among the Top Tours of Billboard’s 2023 Midyear Boxscore charts.

Additionally, the 13-member boy group placed 19th in the Top Ticket Sales chart, which was also published as part of Billboard’s 2023 Midyear Boxscore charts. In particular, SEVENTEEN sold 316,859 tickets from the aforementioned 8 concerts of “BE THE SUN”.

Considering that SEVENTEEN made the charts with such numbers and only 8 shows, fans of the group cannot help but be extremely proud. The group, which debuted in 2015, has been consistently proven their standing in the Kpop world, as well as in the music industry as a whole.
