Jungkook’s “Seven” MV ranks No.1 on Youtube Trending Video charts with 35.48 million views within 24 hours
BTS Jungkook proves his unrivaled popularity with “Seven” music video sweeping the No.1 spot on Youtube charts.
The music video of Jungkook’s first solo single “Seven” released through the Youtube channel of HYBE Labels at 1 p.m. on July 14th (KST) topped the chart of Music Videos Trending Worldwide.
In addition, “Seven” MV ranked 1st among Videos Trending Worldwide in the Music category and Most Viewed Videos in the past 24 hours.
On the 15th (KST), the music video certified its explosive global popularity by claiming the No.1 spot among Korea’s trending videos and trending in a total of 88 countries.
Within the first 24 hours of its release, “Seven” surpassed 35.48 million views and 5.42 million likes, setting a new record as the Korean solo singer with the most likes within the first 24 hours.
“Seven” music video depicts a serenade of a sincere man who constantly and passionately tries to prove his affection for his lover (Han So Hee) in every moment.
The lyrics “Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday/ Every hour, every minute, every second/ You know night after night/ I’ll be lovin’ you right/ Seven days a week” together with the scenes where Jungkook sings and dances from Monday to Sunday, in the midst of a fierce argument, when facing flood and raging storm convey a man’s love for his lover and his desire to spend every moment with her.
The MV ended with a scene where the lovers walk somewhere hand in hand, adding emotional depth to the meaning of the song.
