On June 7th, Yoo Hye Won communicated with fans by hosting a Q&A session through her Instagram story. When a fan asked, “Please start a YouTube channel. I want to see you, beautiful sister, more often,” Yoo Hye Won raised anticipation by replying, “I’ve made up my mind this time. Please wait for it.”
Meanwhile, Yoo Hye Wonwas swept up in dating rumors with Seungri in 3 separate occasions in 2018, 2020, and 2023.
Previously, in 2018, Taiwanese media ETtoday published a photo of the two hugging in front of a hotel in the Netherlands, reporting that they had been dating for a year. Both parties did not give any specific statements regarding this matter.
Then, in March 2020, a claim was made that Yoo Hye Won accompanied Seungri when he entered the 6th Division of the Army Training Center in Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon Province, which fueled the dating rumors between them.
Despite maintaining silence during the second dating rumor, in March 2023, photos of the two together at a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, reignited the dating speculations.
After the dating rumors were reported, Yoo Hye Won’s social media received comments demanding an explanation and malicious comments. Once again, she remained silent regarding her relationship with Seungri.
However, she announced a firm response to malicious commenters, stating that she had collected evidence of groundless and highly malicious comments and intended to take legal action without any leniency.
On the other hand, in January 2020, Seungri was handed over to trial on a total of eight charges, including prostitution, solicitation of prostitution, violation of the Sexual Violence Punishment Act, embezzlement, misappropriation in business, violation of the Food Sanitation Act, habitual gambling, and violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act.
