Seol In-ah’s Astonishing KBS Journey: From ‘The Producers’ Cameo to Star of KBS Dramas
Seol In-ah has amazed everyone with her remarkable history as 'KBS's daughter.'
On December 31st, the 2023 KBS Drama Awards took place in Yeouido, Seoul. The MCs for the event were broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu and actors Rowoon and Seol In-ah.
During the opening, both Seol In-ah and Rowoon revealed that they began their acting careers with KBS dramas. Rowoon said, “‘School 2017’ was my debut drama. Seol In-ah, who is here with us, and Jang Dong-yoon, who is in front of us, were my classmates in the drama.”
Seol In-ah shared, “I started with a minor role in ‘The Producers’ and gradually grew in KBS dramas through ‘School 2017,’ daily drama ‘Sunny Again Tomorrow,’ weekend drama ‘Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful,’ and the mini-series ‘Oasis’ this year.” Her journey with KBS dramas has been a steady growth.
Jang Sung-kyu commented, “Looking at your history, it almost feels like you are KBS’s daughter. I’ll trust only the daughter and follow along,” eliciting laughter. Seol In-ah responded with a smile, “I’ll try to proceed comfortably as if I’m at my in-law’s place.”
