On October 23, a video titled “Dear Subscribers! You’re Invited to My Home – Dong Joo’s Flea Market OPEN!” was uploaded on Seo Dong Joo’s YouTube channel. In the video, she discussed organizing a local flea market to sell clothes and accessories, with plans to donate part of the proceeds. “I’m thinking of hosting it either at a neighborhood café near my house or in my yard. If the total raised is low, I’ll add in some of my own money to make the donation more meaningful,” she explained.
While discussing her simple lifestyle, Seo also addressed why she doesn’t purchase luxury goods. “I try to avoid buying leather products, and a lot of luxury brands use leather. If a luxury item is non-leather, I might use it. But honestly, I just live within my means,” she said.
Then, she shared a personal anecdote that caught attention: “I once went to a big VIP event for a major brand. I drive a compact car, and when I arrived, there were rows of fancy black cars. When I pulled in, the event staff thought I had come to the wrong place and told me to turn around and leave. I was literally asked to exit during the event,” she recalled.

Despite the incident, Seo remains a proud compact car driver. “I love my car. It’s super convenient and has saved me in many situations. I reminded myself to walk in with confidence,” she said. When asked if she plans to change her car, she replied, “Nope. I’ve already signed up for the next generation of the Ray. It’s perfect for me. Even in parking chaos, I can squeeze right in. It’s great—except that one day, it was a bit embarrassing.”
