SELF-PORTRAIT’s Founder Complimented BLACKPINK’s Jisoo For Her Beauty, Attitude And Skills
Jisoo is now the new muse of this London-based fashion house.
On the afternoon of March 5, Jisoo’s first official photos for SELF-PORTRAIT’s upcoming spring-summer campaign were released. The founder and creative director of the brand, Han Chong, also shared kind words about the idol, “Aside from the pieces she has worn on and off stage, my favorite moment has to be when we were together on set for this shoot — Jisoo gravitated towards her favorite pieces immediately, and so we let her choose what she wanted to wear for the campaign. It needed to feel real and authentic to where Jisoo is in her life right now, and for me, knowing that she felt like the best version of herself brought me such satisfaction and joy.”
He continued to praise her, “Watching her journey to becoming a global icon has been so inspiring not only to me, but to a legion of fans. She is a role model to so many – kind, inspiring, sensitive and a pillar of strength. I wanted her beauty, both inside and out, to be front and center of this first series of portraits we shot together in Seoul.”
This is also the first project announced after Jisoo established her own label. Fans are looking forward to seeing more of her activities in the future.
