Seeing Girls’ Generation’s maknae Seohyun grow up well, Hyoyeon couldn’t hold back her tears

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon and Seohyun burst into tears as they showed love for each other.

In the latest episode of JTBC’s variety show “So Shi Tam Tam”, which aired on July 26th, Girls’ Generation members returned to their dorm life 15 years ago and spent a good time with their roommates.

Hyoyeon and the group’s maknae Seohyun, who became roommates again, held hands while making eye contact in their mission to praise each other. Seohyun first expressed her gratitude to Hyoyeon. She said, “Thanks to you, it was always fun, exciting, and joyful.”

Hyoyeon said, “Being the maknae, you must have gone through a lot. So I’m sorry and I hope you can put up with that a bit more in the future. Thank you for growing up so beautifully and nicely over the past 31 years.”

While the other members did the mission playfully, Hyoyeon and Seohyun both got emotional and started crying. When Hyoyeon said, “I’m getting sad,” Seohyun sympathized and said, “I’m in tears too.”

Hyoyeon also mentioned Girls’ Generation’s activities in the past, saying, “We talked about so many serious things when we were roommates in Japan.” Seohyun also looked nostalgic and said, “Because we’re like this, I feel like I’m back in those days.”
